2009 Beta
UPS patch – requires FireRed ROM rijonAdventures is a Pokémon FireRed ROM hack and it’s part of the Rijon trilogy – it takes place 20 years after the events of Pokémon Brown. It’s created by Koolboyman and the effort is done by Hiroshi Sotomura. rijonAdventures aims to be a complete adventure, spanning through a gigantic quest, exploring areas in Rijon, the titular region also featured in Pokémon Brown, and South Rijon, a completely new region designed for rijonAdventures.

About the 2009 beta
The game finishes after the Elite Four campaign. It introduces many new areas to check out (and they will be almost the same as the final version, hence why this is a “beta” release). I recommend that, so people can enjoy this new beta a lot, that you DON’T transfer your save files over if you’ve played a previous alpha or beta. If you do transfer your save file, you’ll notice that all of the Rijon region is unlocked. Goldenrod City is incomplete in this release, however.
